    Polar bears are deemed by many to be the most charismatic and elusive bears of all. Filmed in the Arctic islands of Svalbard, Norway this beautiful programme gets closer than ever before to the world's greatest land predator with the help of Icebergcam, Blizzardcam and Snowballcam. Backed up by Snowcam and Driftcam, these camouflaged cameras reveal the extraordinary curiosity and intelligence of the polar bear. The cameras are just a breath away when two sets of cubs emerge from winter maternity dens. They also capture the moment when the sea-ice breaks away from the island in the spring. As one set of mother and cubs journey across the drifting ice in search of seals, the other is marooned on the island with very little food. How they cope with their different fates is captured in revelatory close-up detail.     Borneo is the third-largest island in the world, inhabited by almost 18 million people who, are, more and more, greedily exploiting their environment, making Borneo one of the most important HOTSPOTS on the planet. The numbers that define Borneo's biodiversity are dizzying: it is estimated that it is home to about 222 species of mammals, more than 100 species of amphibians and 400 species of fish and every year even more species are discovered in its remote forests. Nevertheless, more than 15,000 species of higher plants grow here, of which 6,000 are not found anywhere else in the world. The same applies to its fauna, mostly endemic species such as the orangutan, the binturong (aka the bearcat), the proboscis monkey, different varieties of macaques, the silvery lutung, the sun bear or the Borneo elephant are some of the most representative native species.

During the dry season, the Chobe River attracts huge herds of buffaloes with enormous horns that come in search of water and grass.     Lion Kingdom, The

    Straight Tail’s kingdom is under siege. Three young male lions, led by Raju, are growing up in nearby area. On the other side, it is the Chota-Bada duo who are trying to make inroads into his territory. Elsewhere in Gir, trackers have found two abandoned leopard babies. After a marathon hunt, they manage to find their mother. And just when they were ready to release them in the wild, heavens split open and heavy rains start to lash the park.
